Terms v5.3 (Final) — Effective 2026-06-01 (Service Launch Date)
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service govern the conditions of use for the garangbiai.com website and multimodal dataset services (the "Service") provided by GaRangBi AI Tech (the "Company").
Article 2 (Definitions)
"User" means any member or non-member who uses the Service. "Digital Goods" means downloadable dataset files.
Article 3 (Scope of Service)
The Company provides (1) free sample dataset downloads, (2) paid multimodal dataset sales, (3) B2G custom dataset PoC, and (4) academic/research-citable DOI data.
Article 4 (Fees and Payment)
Paid dataset prices are calculated as base tier × category multiplier × quality multiplier in multimodal_pricing_engine. Payment methods: Korea — Toss Payments / Global — Paddle / B2G — Tax invoice.
Article 5 (Refund Policy — Digital Goods)
Pursuant to Article 17(2)(5) of the Korean E-Commerce Consumer Protection Act and Enforcement Decree Article 21, refunds are restricted upon download or provision of digital content (dataset files). However, full refunds are issued for (a) cancellation prior to starting the download, or (b) confirmed defects (file corruption / SHA256 mismatch).
Article 6 (Intellectual Property and License)
(1) Free samples: cc-by-4.0 (Attribution + license notice + change indication required). (2) Paid datasets: GaRangBi Commercial License v1.0 — non-exclusive, non-transferable usage right. (3) B2G PoC: separate contract.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
The Company assures statistical accuracy of synthetic data via domain validation + physics simulation, but final responsibility for real-world decisions rests with the User. Additional validation is required for safety-critical domains (medical / defense / autonomous driving).
Article 8 (Dispute Resolution)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of the Company's principal office location as the court of first instance.
Article 9 (User Obligations)
Users shall comply with the following obligations: ① Maintain accuracy and currency of information provided at signup ② Manage password and payment information security (notify Company immediately if compromised) ③ Comply with dataset licenses (GaRangBi Commercial v1.0 / cc-by-4.0) ④ Use legitimately owned payment methods ⑤ Cooperate with Company-provided security measures (Turnstile / 2FA / email verification) ⑥ Not disclose Company trade secrets (pricing / internal systems) learned through service use ⑦ Responsibility for storage and management of downloaded datasets (backup obligation)
Article 10 (Prohibited Acts)
Users shall not engage in the following: ① Theft of others' payment information / accounts ② Abnormal payment or downloading using automated tools / bots ③ Reverse engineering / crawling / scraping of Company services ④ Unauthorized resale / redistribution / public release of datasets (license violation) ⑤ Security breach attempts on Company systems (DDoS / SQL injection / XSS, etc.) ⑥ Entering false information (business registration / ID forgery) ⑦ Representing synthetic data as real data / academic fraud ⑧ Violation of these Terms or applicable laws Upon violation, Company may, without prior notice, suspend service, permanently block account, revoke licenses, deny refunds, and claim damages if Company incurs loss.
Article 11 (Terms Amendment)
Company may amend these Terms with at least 7 days' prior notice (30 days for material changes affecting user rights/obligations) via service pages or registered email. Users who do not agree to amended Terms may discontinue service use.
