Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs about payment, downloads, licensing, refunds, and B2G.

Q1. How do I get a free sample?

Click the [Free Download] button on a dataset page — 100 sample records are instantly downloaded under cc-by-4.0 license. No registration required.

Q2. How do I pay for paid datasets?

Korea — Toss Payments (KakaoPay / NaverPay / TossPay / credit card Visa·Mastercard·Amex). Overseas — PayPal (USD) or Woori Bank USD wire. B2G / Enterprise — Woori Bank transfer + tax invoice.

Q3. Are refunds available?

Per Article 17 of Korea's E-Commerce Act, refunds for digital goods (downloaded files) are restricted after download starts. Full refund applies only for (1) pre-download cancellation, or (2) file corruption / SHA256 mismatch.

Q4. How do I use the license?

(1) Free samples: cc-by-4.0 (Attribution + change indication). (2) Paid: GaRangBi Commercial License v1.0 (non-exclusive, non-transferable). (3) B2G PoC: exclusive/non-exclusive per agreement.

Q5. What is the B2G PoC pricing range?

$30,000 ~ $200,000 per project. Includes custom categories + exclusive licensing + dedicated validation + whitepaper. Request a quote on the Enterprise page.

Q6. How is the data generated?

The Aegis-X v5.1 automated pipeline (1) generates domain scenarios, (2) synthesizes 7 modalities (visual/audio/haptic/olfactory/sensors/IR/LiDAR), (3) validates with physics simulation, (4) ships only data that passes cross-modal coherence + modality gate.

Q7. How often are datasets updated?

Approximately 1,500~3,000 new records added per cycle (v5.1 baseline). Free samples are refreshed weekly. Paid datasets receive quarterly v-level updates (priority refresh for buyers).

Q8. How do I cite the datasets academically?

Zenodo DOI registration is in preparation. Once issued, real DOIs and BibTeX citation formats will be published on the Research page, along with the technical whitepaper (PDF).
